I have decided to use folk art as my inspiration  for my digital montage.Folk Art demonstrates the sheer diversity of materials, styles, interpretations and purposes of art since man kind first scratched patterns on the walls of caves.

I love the work of Charles CSuri who is best known for pioneering the field of computer graphics, computer animation and digital fine art creating the first computer art in 1964. Artist research for Chimera

As I am going to use thread as one of my materials for Chimera when researching I came across this textile artist Debbie Symth from Cheltenham. She creates playful yet sophiticated contempoary artwork by stretching a network of threads between accurately plotted pins.The following is some of her works.
